Welly boots.

Lil's choice of footwear, whatever the weather, is always wellies. Not that that's a bad thing, of course. She opted for a pair of awful Minnie Mouse ones while I always go with Hunters - we're both boring and predictable.

When Joules got in contact asking if we'd both like a pair of their wellies, well obviously I said yes. A reason to get us out of our welly rut.

We were due to go to the farm last weekend but as the weather went a bit mental (torrential downpour then beaming sunshine then sleet), our visit got cancelled. Dammit. So we waited for the first non-mental weather day this week and headed to the park to jump in the puddles (thanks, Peppa).

What I've noticed about the Joules wellies compared to my Hunters is that they're a lot softer and easier to walk in when you're not trailing through mud. And obviously they're a lot prettier. And look how cute Lil's are... waaaay cuter than those red things she insists on wearing (which have now disappeared to welly heaven).

And also, why did nobody tell me how lovely Joules' clothing range is?! Hello summer bikinis and striped tees and don't get me started on the bags... The kids wear is pretty cool too (I may have ordered some cute Spring bits for Lil...).

We love our wellies (Lil loves hers so much she keeps them on until it's time for bed) and can't wait to get them all muddy and jump in puddles (obvs we'll clean them, they are very pretty after all...)
